So many thoughts, big and little. She always made me feel welcome, right from the first time Dave introduced us - you could sit and chat like old friends and she was always there for all her family. Full of admiration for the way she raised her 3 wonderful children working and getting her Chemistry degree at the same time. I have fond memories of walks along the old rail path in Havant with her dogs, enjoying her fabulous ginger cake and knowing that however hard I try, mine will never taste quite as good as hers; seeing her beautiful handwriting on an envelope and knowing you were remembered and looking at the wonderful waterfall tapestry on the wall that she made with me in mind. Some incredible holiday trips together - dog-sledding in Alaska, a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon.... Lots of cups of tea and trips to get a sticky bun, family Christmases, and so much more. My world has been so much brighter by having her in it.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
