I first met Barbara when she was one of the brave souls who attempted to follow my waving arms (known as "conducting") for an Ems Valley U3A Singing Group - we did all have such fun!

Later we met up again playing Mahjong - though Barbara was the leader then, and inspired the rest of us. She was invariably the winner when she actually played, quietly and convincingly, and there was certainly no luck involved.....

We really missed her during her last wretched illness, and it is so sad she is no longer with us.

I send deepest condolences to her family.
